All Air line is 20 Kilo limit for baggage per person and
excess baggage fees may be charged. We suggest you leave
items not needed upcountry in Yangon and collect them upon
your return. CREDIT CARD
Credit card can be used only at few hotels in Yangon,
Mandalay and Bagan. We recommend bringing a sufficient
amount of cash for personal expenses. The exchange of
traveler cheques as well is very difficult and time
consuming. Banks are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all
public holidays. CURRENCY
Please note that money
changers/shops/restaurants/hotels only accept USD notes,
which are in good condition and ‘new’ looking. Notes with
torn off corners, rips or scrawls are not accepted.
DRINKING WATER
Only drink purified bottle water. Bottled water is
readily available and some hotels provide complimentary.
Carry a bottle with you throughout the day.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
Upon confirmation of a reservation, require a deposit to
settle to Legendary Myanmar to secure all travel services.
Normally the balance of the tour price should be paid at
least 30 days in advance unless other arrangements are
agreed when booking is confirmed. For special groups or for
services during certain peak periods normal deposit fees may
be increased by our Providers. Please inquire upon booking.
CHILD POLICY
Child 12 years old and above will falls into
adult air fair. AIRPORT TAX
Any passengers departing Myanmar on international
flights will need to pay a departure tax at the prevailing
rate. As of March 2006 the fee is US$ 10.00 per person. Air
port passenger service charges Kyats 1000/Per way Per Pax
will be charge upon Air Ticket for all domestic airfare.

Local time is GMT + 6.5 hours.

phone, as its use in Myanmar is not possible.
WEATHER
Myanmar has three tropical climates.
Rainy: June to September
Cold: October to February
Summer: March to May
Although the effects of the “rainy” season varies across the
country. Yangon is very hot and humid during the “summer”
and “rainy" season (March to September) and although Yangon
and surrounding areas have a lot of rain during summer, end
of October to beginning of May is the best time to visit
Myanmar.
